We specialize in South Indian sarees.

Our strength lies in the weavers and artisans we stand with – respected, supported, and deeply cared for at Rathnavalli. Our products are crafted for women who balance many roles, who value heritage yet live in the present, who wear tradition not as nostalgia, but as a pride.

Rathnavalli is the continuation of a journey that began in 2006 with our mother, MRS NEETA D CHAVAN, and her deep love for sarees and handlooms. Through her brand TOSHANI- for the ethnic walk, she built not just a business but a space rooted in care, trust and respect for the traditional weaves.
In 2025, as her daughters, KASTURI & POOJA, we carry this legacy forward with gratitude and responsibility. Born and brought up in Pune, our childhood was comfortable and crafty as we grew up watching our mother’s devotion for handlooms. Growing up in a total business family, we learned the intricacies of the craft and the rhythm of the trade. Later Kasturi went ahead to pursue Masters in Management Studies while Pooja completed her Graduation and Masters in Fashion Design, NIFT. Through life’s many phases, from marriage to motherhood, also Kasturi’s venturing into construction business and Pooja’s journey in fashion education, but our passion for handlooms never wavered. With a shared vision to modernize, elevate and renew the family business, with mom’s guidance we decided to create Rathnavalli. At Rathnavalli, Kasturi’s strengths in management and sales blend seamlessly with Pooja’s design and creative vision, allowing us to offer our clients the very best.
The name “Rathnavalli” itself means a stream of jewels, where one generation hands down its most precious treasures to the next, woven into lineage.
This is more than a name change, it is a promise we make to our mother, to the artisans, and to every woman who believes in the beauty of handloom.
